The Buffy Girl

This weekend, Austin, TX held a Television Festival. I was lucky to attend. On day one I had 3 panels. TV Fantasy Goes Mainstream, Women in Television, and One Tree Hill Says Goodbye. Each were extremely enjoyable. I got to meet some amazing people in the industry and got to have a dream come true. I met Jane Espenson!

I met a couple of other wonderful people from the Whedonverse. Ben Edlund and Jose Molina. And from One Tree Hill - Mark Schwahn, James Lafferty and Lindesy Mckeon. 

I also got to meet Criminal Minds Show Runner - Erica Messer, and Producer for other shows - Liz Tigelaar.

Many people crossed my path as the two days went on. It was an absolute joy to be able to be in the same room with these people, and ask them questions.

During the Once Upon a Time screening/panel, I asked Jane a couple of questions. I will tell you that it does not look like show creators ship SwanQueen in the least. So I want you to prepare yourself for that. And the line Regina touted about How to get the savior to taste her forbidden fruit was not Jane’s doing.
